Car plate sales

HANGZHOU government said 7,494 car plates will be issued this month with 6,078 through lottery and 1,416 through auction.
The chance of winning the lottery is one in every 83 applicants, or 1.2 percent. The auction will take place on November 25 while the lottery will be held on November 26. The city has been restricting the sales of plates to combat worsening air pollution and congestion.
