Cartoon and animationshow goes on
THOUGH the China International Cartoon and Animation Festival has closed, fans can still indulge their love of cartoons and animation.
The 4th Zhejiang Art Museum Animation Season is underway at the museum through June 22. The theme is experimental cartoons.
The recently concluded festival featured cartoonist autograph sessions, promotion and sales of animation works and derivative products.
The ongoing animation season supplements the international festival and emphasizes the works of independent Chinese cartoon and animation artists.
The Zhejiang Art Museum will screen cartoon series and hold academic forums and interactive experience activities.
Discussions will cover the current situation for Chinese independent experimental animations and the challenges posed by international works.
