Certificates of origin issued

Zhejiang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued 136,000 certificates of origin for Chinese enterprises exporting to South Korea and 171,000 certificates of origin for Chinese enterprises exporting to Australia, since the China-South Korea Free Trade Agreement and China-Australia Free Trade Agreement were put into effect in December 2015.

It was reported that the Zhejiang enterprises exporting to South Korea and Australia could be exempt from the US$389 million tariff due to the free trade agreements and the 307,000 certificates of origin issued.

According to the certificates of origin, the top five products exported to Australia were furniture and bedding, plastic, textile and costumes, mechanical equipment, toys and sports items. And the top five products exported to South Korea were electric appliances, mechanical equipment, plastic products, organic chemical produce, iron and steel items.

In addition, the bureau issued 2,500 certificates of origin for aquatic and marine product exporters from Zhoushan Islands with a total value of US$170 million.
