CHINESE swimmer Sun Yang, winner of two gold medals at the London Olympics, auctioned a swimming lesson at a charity event in Hangzhou last week. Famous Chinese actor Pu Cunxin outbid others with an offer of 150,000 yuan for the lesson and a swimming cap Sun wore in London.
Pu said he will give them as a wedding gift to his daughter.
More than 8 million yuan was raised in the auction and the money will be used to help children with AIDS and their families in Yunnan, Hubei and Anhui provinces and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
