City acts on advice
Hangzhou has been improving services at the West Lake scenic area after receiving more than 500 suggestions from residents since August.
Baby-nursing booths have been set up in six pavilions around the scenic spot, offering moms a quiet place to feed baby.
Sound equipment in 68 electric sightseeing vehicles is being adjusted after some residents complained about the noise being transmitted by the loudspeakers.
And a crackdown on illegal tour guides near the Lingyin Temple is ongoing.
The city plans to launch a smartphone application for the West Lake area next year, allowing users to post their ideas to help create a better tourism experience.
