City ambassadors鈥 plan

Six professionals, including a foreigner, were hired as the seventh batch of Hangzhou Convention Ambassadors on Tuesday, as part of the city鈥檚 ambition to win the hosting city status of 200 international conventions in the next decade.
With their help, Hangzhou has successfully hosted more than 40 international conventions and nearly 1,000 national meetings, including the 8th World Congress of Herpetology in 2016 and Association of Critical Heritage Studies Conference in 2018.
