CONSTRUCTION began recently on Hangzhou International Finance and Convention Center in Zhijiang New City.
The convention center will include an international meeting hall, an exhibition area, Hangzhou International Convention Hotel, office buildings, museums and a commercial center.
A gem and jewelry trade center will be set up in the center, and an art performance troupe from France will be invited to perform on a long-term contract.
Designed by French architect Dominique Perrault, the new landmark in Zhijiang New City is expected to be completed in 2016.
