Cooking class
THE Hangzhou Cuisine Museum is offering a two-day course for newlyweds or would-be couples to learn how to cook authentic Hangzhou dishes as part of the "A Bite of Love" event.
Experienced Hangzhou chefs will be at the museum on September 8-9 to guide newlyweds as they try their hand at making local cuisine. Would-be couples or newly married couples can call (0571) 8890-1890 to sign up for the course.
Participants will learn at least four dishes popular in local restaurants.
The cooking class will be recorded and then broadcast during a group wedding ceremony to be held on October 10. Ten of the new couples will each prepare a dish at the site as a thanksgiving gift to their parents.
