Corrupt officials
THREE Hangzhou officials were punished for violating the Party’s disciplines, according to a recent government announcement.
Yu Lixing, former deputy Party secretary of Chun’an County, Yu Jianzhong, former inspector of the Hangzhou Urban Management Administration, and Li Xiaohua, former inspector of the Hangzhou Culture, Radio, TV and Publication Bureau were probed for official corruption.
Yu Lixing was found leading a corrupt life, indulging in extramarital affairs, taking bribes in exchange for promoting others, and embezzling public properties. He was expelled from the Party, removed from office and handed over to the judiciary department.
Yu Jianzhong took bribes and held positions in private companies before his retirement in 2013. He also had mistresses and embezzled public money. He was stripped of his Party membership and transferred to the judiciary department.
Li Xiaohua was found violating Party disciplines and embezzling public properties through cheating. He was also expelled from the Party and handed over to the judiciary department.
