Detours to airport

TRAVELERS taking flights from Xiaoshan International Airport are reminded to leave at least 30 minutes earlier starting next month as the Airport Expressway will be closed for expansion until mid-2017. People are advised to take one of three routes:
The first starts from Desheng Overpass to Qianjiang No. 2 Bridge and to the airport. It’s the most convenient, with a distance of 25 kilometers and it runs on elevated roads without traffic lights. It charges a 15 yuan toll.
The second starts from Qianjiang No. 3 Bridge to Binjiang No. 2 Road or Qingchun Road Tunnel, to Hongda Road and to the airport. The 23km route takes over an hour due to chaotic road conditions.
The third starts from Qianjiang No. 4 Bridge to Shidai Avenue, Guanshan Tunnel, Siji Avenue, Raocheng Expressway and Hangyong Expressway to the airport. It is the longest but fastest, taking about 40 minutes. A navigation device is recommended to avoid getting lost.
