Divorce and remarry

Divorce and remarriage was most common among the middle-aged group in Hangzhou last year, according to the civil affairs bureau.
Last year, 7,959 men and 8,378 women aged 30 to 39 filed for divorce, representing 41.8 percent and 44.1 percent of all men and women divorced last year.
Meanwhile, 4,376 people aged 30 to 39 were remarried, also the most among the age groups. Those aged 40 to 49 made the second largest group with a number of 2,261.
The number of men who got married immediately after the legal age of 22 surged to 1,092 in 2015 from zero between 2011 and 2014.
The average age of brides and bridegrooms was 29.5 and 31.6 respectively, 0.67 and 0.73 years younger than in 2014. The average age for first marriage was 28.8 for men and 27.09 for women last year.
