The Third Ministerial Forum on Cultural Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) was held in Hangzhou on September 22.
Che Jun, Party secretary of Zhejiang Province, delivered a welcome speech to the forum鈥檚 opening ceremony. Chinese culture minister Luo Shugang and 16 culture ministers from the CEEC bloc delivered keynote speeches.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang sent a letter of congratulations to the forum.
Representatives from participating countries unanimously approved a cultural cooperation plan for 2018-2019 and the Hangzhou Declaration between China and Central and Eastern European Countries.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed to set up a coordination center for China-CEEC Cultural Cooperation in the Republic of Macedonia.
