PASSENGERS will soon be able to top up their public transport cards at 100 bus stops after electronic boards are installed there.
The 100 bus stops are mostly along downtown streets, such as Huancheng Road, Shuguang Road, Tiyuchang Road, Qingchun Road, Jiefang Road, Fengqi Road, Xihu Avenue, Huancheng Road, Moganshan Road and Huansha Road.
Apart from top-up, passengers can also check the amount of money in their cards and bus routes on the electronic board. The board updates bus arrival information every five seconds and also transmits free Wi-Fi signal.
Officials said 514 more bus stops will be upgraded with the electronic boards. Meanwhile, public transport cards can be topped up online starting from May.
