Ecological Jianggan

Jianggan District in the eastern part of Hangzhou was recently awarded the title of “Ecological District” by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Six Hangzhou districts — Lin’an, Tonglu, Xihu, Yuhang, Chun’an and Jianggan — have now received the national title.
The city also carried out a river beautification program. So far, 13 of the 32 rivers covered by the program have taken on a new look. Work on all the rivers will be completed by the end of this month.
