Expat open day
More than 30 expatriates attended an open day held by the Hangzhou Entry-Exit Administration Bureau.
They visited the Hangzhou Entry-Exit Service Hall and learned about the procedure there. Visitors also talked to the policemen in the service hall in several foreign languages, including Japanese, French, Russian, Arabic and Korean.
Chen Feng, chief of the visa division, and policeman Ding Yongping answered questions on visa applications and applications for long-term residence permits.
On December 29, Hangzhou announced seven new entry-exit new policies mainly benefiting four types of expats, including high-level professionals, long-term workers, overseas Chinese and overseas students.
Expats can submit questions to Hangzhoufeel on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube, or email Hangzhoufeel@gmail.com.
