Fall opening for hub

THE Hangzhou Grand Canal Transportation Hub will open to the public this autumn. Located in Gongshu District, the hub is a revamped shipyard that will become a new city landmark.
The four-story hub will have an above-ground floor area of 20,000 square meters. The ground floor will be a public area offering services like cruise tickets sales, wheel chair rentals and emergency care. Restaurants and cultural facilities will be set up on other floors.
The hub will be facilitated by five bus lines, three cruise berths, 300 parking places for motor vehicles and 600 for non-motorized vehicles. Bike rental will also be available in the transportation hub.
