Fancy dress cycling

INTERESTED in putting on a costume and joining thousands of cyclists on a carnival-style rally? If so, join the 5th Hangzhou Cycling Carnival at 9am on Saturday at the South Square of Citizen Center in Qianjiang New City.
About 2,000 cyclists are expected to gather there and embark on a 25-kilometer cycling trip. If you need help with the make-up to go with your costume, don't worry - professionals will give you a hand. Organizers will hand out awards to the 30 best-dressed carnival goers.
After the cycle run, a rock and roll concert is being staged at the Citizen Square at noon and is expected to last for two and a half hours.
This year the cycling event organizers are also setting up two branch rallies at the Great Canal Culture Square in the downtown area, and Xinsha Island in Fuyang City to the southwest of the city. Around 500 cyclists are expected to take part in these. These will also include cultural activities.
