Flights to Singapore
Scoot, a low-cost carrier owned by Singapore Airlines, launched direct flights between Singapore and Hangzhou last week.
Scoot is using a Boeing 787-8 on the route and plans to increase flights from four a week to five a week in December. The company said passengers can use paid Wi-Fi service during flights.
Tickets for a roundtrip flight are less than 1,100 yuan each during the opening promotion, said Campbell Wilson, CEO of Scoot.
Hangzhou is the budget airline鈥檚 fifth destination in China. The airline already serves Tianjin, Shenyang, Qingdao and Nanjing.
