G20 anticipation

As the G7 summit concluded in Japan last month, Hangzhou is eager to play host to the G20 meeting.
Hopes are high that China’s leadership of the group will breathe fresh life into the quest for the elusive global recovery. The focus of the Hangzhou summit will be sustained global growth. The conference is expected to marshal developing and developed countries alike to throw their weight behind growth initiatives through innovation across the board.
Though China itself is also coping with the slowdown in the global economy, the country’s leaders will comes to Hangzhou with fresh energy as their own efforts to seek a new model of slower and more sustainable growth make headway. Chinese officials expect the meeting to propose substantive improvements to global economic governance and international financial stability.
