THE 7th Yangguo Festival gets under way on November 11 in "China's First Traditional Food Village" Yangguo, Cangqian Town, Yuhang District in Hangzhou.
People in Yangguo Village have a folk custom of eating goat organs after autumn harvest.
Selected from the best-quality meat from one and two-year-old goats, together with the special recipe and cooking techniques, the goat offal and mutton soup offered in Yangguo Village is said to be unparalleled in Hangzhou.
The previous six Yangguo festivals have attracted 2 million visitors and achieved a turnover of 157 million yuan (US$25.15 million).
