Hiring experts easier

The Zhejiang Bureau of Foreign Expert Affairs issued an invitation letter to a Canadian professor who will teach at Zhejiang University’s School of Business Management. It is the first letter issued by the bureau after it simplified entry procedures for foreign experts.

Chinese employers can apply for F-type visas for foreigners they want to hire for a short term through foreign expert affairs bureaus in Hangzhou and Ningbo.

Foreigners with an F-type visa can have multiple entries in one year with each stay no more than 30 days.

About 47,000 foreign experts worked in Zhejiang Province this year. They made contributions to the province’s economic transformation, industrial upgrade and innovation.
