Hubin Road reopens
HUBIN Road along West Lake has reopened to pedestrians after four months of renovations. Automobiles, mopeds and bikes are now banned on the 840-meter boulevard between Qingchun Road and Youdian Road.
The road was closed on January 31 to replace broken granite tiles. The four public bike rental stations on the road were relocated.
Hubin Road was made a pedestrian road in October 2003 but was converted into a one-way street for cars in June 2005.
