"GOOD People of Jiangnan" will be presented by Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yueju Opera Troupe between March 28-30 at Hangzhou Theater, after its successful debut in Beijing's National Grand Theater.
The opera stars well-known opera singer Mao Weitao, who until now has always played males role in the troupe of female performers.
This will be her first female role in a 33-year stage career. In fact, she will play two roles in the opera - a man as a man and a woman.
