Hangzhou Library will open an outlet at the foot of Tianziling Hill in Jingmai area on June 5 that will focus on environmental issues.

The new library will have more than 100,000 books and a total floor area of 1,000 square meters. It will be open to the public for free.

Tianziling Hill used to be a landfill with about 4,000-5,000 tons of domestic waste dumped here every day since 1991.
