List of offenders

Two provincial-level officials and 33 county-level officials were among 272 individuals caught in Hangzhou last year for work-related offenses, according to a report released recently at a plenary session of the municipal People’s Congress. The list of offenders includes: Chen Shiquan, deputy Party secretary of the Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Commission; Zhao Yesong, deputy director of the Hangzhou Urban Management Commission; and Yu Lixing, deputy Party secretary of Chun’an County.
Courts in Hangzhou handled 252,650 cases last year, the most in Zhejiang province, and settled 229,117 cases, Wen Gangliang, president of the Hangzhou Intermediate People’s Court, told lawmakers at the session.
