THE city's Gongshu District has set aside 20 low-rent apartments for outstanding college graduates who will work in the district.
The district plans to supply 100 more low-rent apartments this year as part of its incentives to attract young talented professionals. All the apartments are in six-story buildings with floor space between 80 to 120 square meters. They are furnished with basic home furniture.
Ma Weirong, director of the Construction Bureau of Gongshu District, said the monthly rent for these apartments is 13 yuan (US$1.99) per square meter, including the property management fee.
