Marathon date set

This year’s Hangzhou Marathon will be held on November 1. People can sign up for a slot in the race between September 16 and 23.
A total of 30,000 marathon runners will be selected by lottery with 15,000 for the full and half marathon, 12,000 for the mini marathon, and 3,000 for the family and couple run.
People need to bring a recent health check report when registering. The race organizer will recruit 100 volunteers with medical training to run the marathon and provide immediate treatment to runners who suddenly feel sick.
For the first time in its 29-year history, the marathon organizer will run a training camp for participants. CCTV will broadcast the event live on its sports channel and a marathon promotion carnival will be held from October 28 to November 2 to attract more spectators.
