THE annual Hangzhou International Marathon will be held on November 11 on a route around the picturesque West Lake and Qiantang River route.
In addition to the traditional full-length marathon, the event will also include a half marathon, a shorter version, and a mini marathon.
Fun runs include the 1.2-kilometer family run, while the lovers' run will test the depth of couples' devotion along a 3.5-kilometer stretch.
Last year, 23,000 people took part in the marathon, compared to 15,000 in 2010.
