Marathon weekend

Hangzhou International Marathon, dubbed the “most beautiful marathon” in the world, starts at 8am on Sunday.
Full marathon, half marathon, 13-kilometer and 6.8-kilometer races and a 1.2-kilometer family run will all start from the Huanglong Sports Center.
A 3.5-kilometer lover’s run will start from the Broken Bridge on West Lake.
Nearly 23,000 people from 26 countries and regions have signed up for the Hangzhou marathon and various races. About 7,000 of them will compete in the full marathon and half marathon races.
Areas along the route of the marathon, which entered its 26th year, will be cordoned off. The route goes around West Lake to Qianjiang New Town.
