Metro open longer
TO cope with the Spring Festival travel peak, Hangzhou Metro operator has announced that it is extending hours of service on Metro Line 1 from 14 to 16 hours, starting tomorrow.
The first train will run at 5:50am, instead of 6:30am, and the last service at 10pm, instead of 8:30pm.
The extended hours will operate from February 2 to 9 and February 24 to March 3.
During the peak hours of 7am-9am and 4:30pm-7:30pm on weekdays and 11am-7pm on weekends, the operator will run additional trains. There will be 420 services per day, compared with the usual 372.
