Mobile intelligent province

Zhejiang Province will collaborate with Alibaba鈥檚 financial affiliate, Ant Financial, to push forward mobile payment systems and upgrade the transformation of consumer and public service facilities, the provincial Department of Commerce said on Sunday.
The mobile payment and service upgrade will take place in 11 cities, including Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Jinhua, Taizhou, Lishui, Huzhou and Quzhou. The strategy aims to make Zhejiang Province the first mobile intelligent province in China.
In Hangzhou, more than 95 percent of supermarkets and convenience stores accept Alipay, and over 98 percent of taxi drivers accept mobile payment. With Alipay, users in Zhejiang Province can also make social security payments and personal tax declarations on their mobile phones.
