Modern industrial museum to open

Hangzhou government announced that a new museum featuring the development of modern industry will open in September this year.
The museum, occupying 7,571 square meters on the former site of Honglei Silk Factory, will compliment other museums in the city featuring collections of scissors, umbrellas and fans.
People with items related to the industrial development of Hangzhou between 1889 and 1979 are invited to contact museum staff by calling (0571) 8819-7519, 8819-7521, 8819-7522, or 8819-7523.
