New district

FUYANG has been declared a district of Hangzhou now with the local government located on 25 Guihua Road.
The State Council, China’s Cabinet, approved the change and asked the Hangzhou government to curtail the size of the new district government to boost administrative efficiency. The Hangzhou government should try to cut the payroll and operating cost of the new district government and guarantee no budget increase for new offices and new workers, the State Council said in a directive issued last year.
