New railway lines

ZHEJIANG Province announced last week that it will build 16 new railways before the end of 2020. Construction will begin on eight railways by next year.
The new railways will connect Hangzhou, Quzhou, Jinhua, Jiaxing and Ningbo with other parts of the province, especially southwestern Zhejiang, and strengthen links with Shanghai and other provinces.
The 80-kilometer Huzhahang Railway will add an extra link between Shanghai and Hangzhou; Husuhu Railway will connect Huzhou and Shanghai; Jiujingqu Railway will offer easy access for Hangzhou people to visit Wuyuan and Lu Mountain, both popular tourist destinations in Jiangxi Province.
By the end of 2020, Zhejiang will have 23 railway lines.
