New train station opening

After four years of construction, a new Hangzhou South Railway Station will reopen in October with 50,000 square meters on five levels, two underground and three above ground for arrivals, a concourse and a waiting hall.
The station has seven platforms and 21 tracks, three times more than before. Routes include Ningbo, Shanghai, Beijing and Kunming.
The station also has two open squares. The West Square has been enlarged to 60,000 square meters. The East Square is a new addition and will become a traffic hub where people can take Metro Line 5 and Line 11, city buses and intercity coaches.
