New transport hub

HANGZHOU will build another transportation hub, the Hangzhou West Railway Station, next year.
The station will be connected with four high-speed railway lines, namely the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway, to open in 2021; the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou High-speed Railway, which is expected to open in 2020; the Shanghai-Zhapu-Hangzhou High-speed Railway, set to open in 2021; as well as the Hangzhou-Wuhan High-speed Railway, which is still under plan.
The city’s Metro Line 3 and Tram Line 2 will also connect to the station. On the west side of the station, an airport will also be built to serve small business jets, short-distance air transport and small jets providing air sightseeing services.
