New vice mayors

XIE Shuangcheng and Chen Hongying were appointed vice mayors of Hangzhou at a plenary meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th Municipal People's Congress last week.
Xie, 52, a native of Anji, Zhejiang Province, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1981. He is a member of the China Association for Promoting Democracy.
Chen, 53, a native of Hangzhou, obtained her Bachelor's degree in 1982. She became a Communist Party member in 1988.
