A noodle shop on Hangzhou Jianguo Road is offering free noodles and tea for underprivileged people in the area.
The micro-charity-themed Chengliang Noodle Shop is named after its owner Zhang Chengliang, who is keen to support good causes.
He also promises to donate one yuan for every bowl of noodles sold.
Zhang invested 250,000 yuan (US$ 40,657) setting up the noodle shop, and hopes to open 10 outlets in Hangzhou.
