Old town upgrade

CHUN’AN County will invest over 6 billion yuan in three years to upgrade the Qiandaohu Town, according to a local government plan approved by the provincial government.
The money will be used to renovate old neighborhoods, beautify main roads, improve the environment, and establish a leisure and recreational area around Qilong Lane.
Actions will be taken to reduce emissions, treat waste water and restore the ecosystem of the old town by Qiandao Lake, according to the plan.
Qiandaohu Town has made remarkable achievements in environmental protection in recent years and earned praises of provincial authorities.
