Pagoda to reopen
HANGZHOU’S landmark Liuhe Pagoda reopened to the public last Thursday after being closed for renovations for nearly one year.
Visitors can walk up stairs to the seventh floor of the 13-story pagoda.
Liuhe Pagoda, literally Six Harmonies Pagoda, was built in AD 970 and repaired several times throughout history. It was closed in May 2013 for exterior repairs.
An exhibition of peony flowers is held to celebrate its reopening.
