Park-and-ride expansion

FOUR more park-and-ride facilities will be put into service later this year, allowing more car-driving commuters to switch to low-carbon public transport.

The four facilities are close to Metro and railway stations, including Yuhang High-Speed Railway Station and Panshui Station.
Hangzhou now has six such facilities in operation. Commuters can park their cars in these facilities and take the subway downtown.
Park-and-ride passengers enjoy half-price parking fees which are deducted from their public transport cards when they swipe the cards at the Metro station and leave the facility within 30 minutes.
