Pick fruit at park

People visiting Xixi National Wetland Park can pick persimmons that are ripening and ready for harvest during late September and early October.
There are 1,850 persimmon trees in the park. Visitors can choose to pick the fruit while on a boat. The park charges 50 yuan (US$8) for a family of three who can take home a basket of persimmons they have picked.
Visitors can also purchase “ownership” of a persimmon tree for 300 yuan and receive two passes that allow them to visit the park for free within one year.
Kids can learn to make scarecrows and flower baskets in the park while the adults enjoy afternoon tea on a rowboat. Visitors can make reservations by calling (0571) 8908-1133.
