Plans for Line 3

A BLUEPRINT for Metro Line 3 has the route stretching 36 kilometers from Xixi Wetland Park to Linping Town. It includes 25 stations with planned links with Line 1 at Wulin Square and West Lake Culture Square, Line 2 at Wulinmen and Line 4 at Dongxin Road stations.
The new subway is designed to transport more than 40,000 people an hour during rush hours. Line 3 may eventually extend west to connect with Lin’an Intercity Railway.
