Planting starts at Taiziwan

WORKERS started to plant tulip bulbs at Taiziwan Park last week, and the park operator says the highlight of next spring will be the synergy of different flowers.

Apart from tulips from the Netherlands and cherries from Japan, the park will also have purple orchids. Other flowers include Hyacinth, Magnolia and Iris from February to May.

It is a tradition for Hangzhou residents and visitors to take a walk in Taiziwan Park to enjoy its flower show every spring. Other places in the city with wonderful flower views include Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond, Su Causeway, Hangzhou Botanic Garden and greeneries west of Yanggong Causeway.
