Hangzhou will launch 175 industrial and public projects in July and August worth a combined 67 billion yuan (US$10.79 billion) in investment. They include the construction of Chang’an Auto Park and Yinhu Experimental School, the expansion of Qiandao Lake Airport, and the renovation of Zijingang Road.
Construction has started on Sanbacun Station for Metro Line 2 and Line 5. The station will have 11 exits. Construction will start this month on the 96-classroom Yinhu Experimental School.
Workers will also start building Jiubao Dongcheng Cultural and Sports Center this month. The center will have a museum of ancient ruins and facilities for swimming, badminton, basketball, tennis and table tennis. It is scheduled for completion in 2017.
