Qianjiang Century City plan

Hangzhou Planning Bureau announced a revised plan to develop the core area of Qianjiang Century City on the southern bank of the Qianjiang River.
With a total land area of 614.2 hectares, the core area of Qianjiang Century City will be a new commercial and business center of Hangzhou after completion, and it is one of the key parts of the city鈥檚 strategy to develop the areas along the Qiantang River.
The core part is opposite the Qianjiang New City on the northern bank of the Qiantang River. Metro Line 2 links the area to downtown.
Construction of the road system in the area has been completed, with five east-west trunk roads and five north-south ones.
A main landscape and culture axis will be set up along Shixin Road N., which links the old town area of Xiaoshan District with the core of Qianjiang Century City from east to west. And from north to south there are two axes: Benjing Avenue and Pinglan Road.
