Qiantang River development

HANGZHOU government has published an action plan from 2018 to 2021 to accelerate the development of the area along Qiantang River.
The government agreed that the ecological environment of Qiantang River’s upper and middle reaches should be improved, as well as the functions and quality of the lower reach. By 2021, the construction of Qianjiang New City and Qianjiang Century City on both banks of the river should be completed, and the Olympic Expo City and Asian Games Village should be set up and ready for 2022 Asian Games in the city.
