Railway station details

THE Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission released details about 11 stations on the planned Hangzhou-Fuyang Intercity Railway.

The 23.5-kilometer urban rail will travel from the China Academy of Art in Xihu District to the heart of Fuyang District, with stops at eight underground stations and three elevated stations.

Eight stations are in Fuyang, in southwest Hangzhou, and three are in Xihu District. The railway will connect with Metro Line 6 at the China Academy of Art Station near the corner of Hangxin Road and Meiyuan Road S.

The urban rail will take 40 months to build and open in 2019. Total costs are estimated at 10.5 billion yuan.
