Railway test run

THE Hangzhou-Changsha High-Speed Railway has begun a trial phase. Currently the fastest train from Hangzhou to Jiangshan takes two hours and 25 minutes.
The new railway has passed every technical test required for traveling at a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour, according to Fang Xing, an expert with the Chinese Academy of Railway Sciences. It runs 927 kilometers across Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Hunan provinces. Commercial operation is expected to begin in December.
