River clean-up goals

The Hangzhou Urban Management Committee has set this year’s river clean-up targets: removing 200 pollution sources, completing 300 sewage pipeline projects, deleting 30 rivers from a black list, and turning five rivers into ecological restoration showcases. There are 470 rivers in Hangzhou and 113 of them are murky and stinky.
The city government has made a plan to remedy all the foul rivers in five years. According to the plan, 30 severely polluted rivers will be cleaned up this year, compared with 25 last year.
